Texas Mission of Mercy brings dental care to urban and rural communities all across Texas. Services generally include basic, pain-relieving and preventive procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions.

Give Kids a Smile is held each February to specifically serve underserved communities. The event generally consists of dental screenings and fluoride varnish applications as well as oral hygiene instructions and education.

DCDS Foundation's Dental Tree Program is a service opportunity for dentists and their teams to serve Dallas County's most at-risk populations through their own offices or in local service projects.

When school kicks into gear, so do we! Volunteers from the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Association and other local dental staff give Tooth Talk presentations at local elementary schools, with supplies provided by the DCDS Foundation. Click here if your school is interested!

Do you enjoy working with the elderly? Senior’s Smiles, a program aimed at nursing homes, need your expertise and time! In coordination with the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Association, the DCDS Foundation provides oral health education to the elderly in our community.

This annual event brings together executive directors, lead dentists and key personnel from various charitable dental care providers to foster information sharing, communication and partnership opportunities that will enhance oral health in the local community. Read more…
