D3 Volunteerism Scholarship
The DCDS Foundation’s D3 Volunteerism Scholarship is awarded to a third-year Texas A&M College of Dentistry student who embodies this mission through outstanding commitment to community service. This recognition honors the recipient’s dedication to caring for others and reminds us all of the vital commitment dentists make to caring for others. DCDS Foundation is proud to support the next generation of dental leaders who prioritize the health of our community.
For consideration, the resident must meet these requirements:
Current third-year dental student at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the time of application.
Resume or curriculum vitae highlighting academic achievements, leadership roles, and community service.
A 300–350 word personal statement describing the applicant’s volunteer service and motivation for serving the community, as well as how they plan to incorporate service into their future dental career.
One letter of recommendation from a faculty member, community leader, or volunteer supervisor who can speak to the applicant’s character, dedication, and service impact..
